Japan Premiere screening report 04.04.2009

Last Saturday was a big day for me. Because Brian & Co. was shown in Japan for the first time! In the begining, I talked with my friend Makiko and thought "it would be good if about 20 people could attend the premiere". However, over 35 people came to the screening on the day. What a surprise!!

The day was also good for cherry blossom viewing in Tokyo. So, my sister and I went to Yoyogi Park and Chidori-ga-fuchi before the screening.

My poor sister was told to have a important mission on that day. She had to control the projecter, the DVD player, room lighting, and photo taking! She had never operated the projecter (me either!), so we got confused!

Screening was finished without any trouble. After the screening, we cleared the chairs and started drinking at the venue. Surprisingly, there was a hidden kitchen behind the screen! A lot of mouth-watering dishes were delivered through the small window from that secret kitchen.

 

We enjoyed the post screening drinking party (maybe more than the film...!). I hoped people came to watch my film can make networks there. Because I do feel I could not have screenings without my friends' help!
